DON'T DO IT
Written by Anthony on 03/28/2019

Doing business with this dealership is a mistake. The majority of their positive reviews are clearly written by friends, family, and the employees themselves, so read the negative ones before you make the error of walking into this dealership. The first interaction that I had with Bristol Auto Mall was a phone conversation in which it was claimed that the car I was looking at buying was sold. I was disappointed as I had already driven myself and my mother one hour of the three-and-a-half hour drive from my home town towards Levittown. Less than an hour later, as I neared my house on the way back, A call was placed to my home phone from the dealer in which it was relayed to my step-father that the car was not, in fact, sold. So, a couple hours later. myself and my mother took the long trip to PA. When we arrived, before being shown the car or being asked if we wanted a test drive, my mother (who, because of my age was legally required to buy the car for me,) was interrogated regarding her credit and annual income. Already, many things seemed amiss. After investigating the car, I discovered a few electronic and cosmetic issues (broken hood latch, broken window trim, faulty window switch.) This all seemed normal for a used car and i requested that it be fixed before we came to any agreement about buying the car. The dealer agreed. Because the window switch required a longer fix then we had time for, we resolved to leave and come back later to buy the car. A few days later, we made the trip back (at this point, we had spent at least 8 hours driving in attempts to purchase the car.) When we got there, I noticed that the window trim had been cheaply “repaired” using double-sided tape and had already been again detached from the window frame by moisture or force. The window switch was detached from the door panel (we were told the part didn’t come in time,) and the hood latch felt temporarily repaired and much less solid then the one on our current CPO BMW. After taking care of the financial business (which had suspicious intricacies of its own, and took about three hours) we were told that the car had been in an unreported accident and had suffered structural damage which was noticed by the auction that had sold it... I was hoping to purchase my first automobile for my birthday, but Bristol Auto Mall turned it into a long, nightmarish, and suspicious process which had cost my family and myself nearly twenty hours altogether. Please, for your own sake, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP, or you might end up driving away in a car with hidden issues.
