Service and Body Shop Not To Be Recommended

Early Summer/2011 - This Dealership merged with "Miller and Sons Chevrolet". So just so that it is understood, they are now one and fall under Miller and Sons as a dealer Name. Earlier this year when Aliquippa and surounding areas suffered from a "Hail Storm". I own a 2008 H3, and suffered 30 dents on my hood and 50+ on my roof, and a crack in my windshield. I made an appointment with Miller and Sons to estimate the damage. I left work early on the day of the appointment as they do not have late days for the body shop. When I arrived, the body shop manager opened a garage door and asked that I pull the vehicle inside since it was raining at the time. He did a 35 second walk around my vehicle and conversed in between about what he was to be estimating. It was not easy to see the damage with the vehicle being wet. He at this time said he was ready to write the estimate. I asked him how he was able to do this when he couldnt see all of what had been done and asked if maybe drying it off would help his visual on the damage. He then ststed that he would have to wash it to dry it so as not to scratch it and preceeded to look at me like I was crazy. It was a priceless look. I asked the shop manger why he did not phone me and let me know that the estimate would be difficult for him, because of the rain, so I did not have to leave work early and waste my time driving the 30 minutes it took to get there. The managers response was no response. I asked for my keys and said thank you for your time. He proceeded to open the garage door so I could leave, and after I backed out, he "slammed" the door. I phoned the Business manager, explained, and told him I would not be back. 8/25/11- I had yet a second bad experience with this dealership. The engine on my hummer needed repair. I was instructed by Road Side Assistance to have the vehicle towed to the "closest" GM Dealership. This dealership was Miller and Sons. In order to comply with the warrenty work that needed done, I took the car to the dealership again. The experience with the Service manager was more exciting than the experience with the body shop manager. They had my Hummer for "ONE" day shy of a month to replace an engine, Cat Converter, and Exhaust manifold. Oh I was promised my car one day, and another and another. I was given excuses for the employees not ordering parts...GM not sending all the parts. HERE IS THE BEST PART TO THIS REVIEW!!!!!! While they had my Hummer in their posession, they managed to pull off my Chrome Hood Vent Overlay (Aftermarket), and scratch my pass side door, and the fender that had just been painted three weeks befor they started working on it. When I left work early to show them what was wrong, they were very reluctant ta accept blame for this damage. They physically lifted the hood vent and said, "Ya...I see that". (Mean while it is ready to blow off in the wind while driving.) They asked that I bring the hummer back in so they could fix these issues. After looking at the vehicle upon returning home from work and seeing that nothing was done except a botched adhesive job to the chrome piece, I phoned them. The body shop manager stated " We never wanted to work on it to begin with, and.....at that point I hung up. This man, manager within a dealership, Suposedly to have SOME knowledge in customer service, PHONED me back and when I answered the phone started rambling about MY PROFESSIONALISM for hanging up. I "Hung Up Again". I would NEVER recomend this dealership to anyone.
