Suburban Ford hands down gave me the best dealer experience I’ve ever had while purchasing a car. There were no high pressure tactics trying to add packages, accessories, service contracts. They worked closely with me to give exactly the specifications for the Maverick build I wanted. I was even surprised that the cost came out lower than I expected because I accidentally used the Ford leasing web site to estimate my build. Even during the vehicle shortage caused by the pandemic, they didn’t add any extra dealer charges that other non-Ford dealers I visited did. The atmosphere in the dealership was incredibly laidback and friendly. Chuck Albertus, the salesman that helped me during my first visit was awesome. He called and warned me that Ford was closing orders for Mavericks and that probably saved me 6 months of waiting time and extra costs. Since he was out the day I came in to place my order, Tony Reyes his partner filled in for him. I felt incredibly at ease working with him. He and the other sales staff worked hard to make sure I got precisely the build I wanted, and they explained precisely how the ordering process worked. I wish all auto sales worked this way. While I wish I didn’t have to wait as long for my Maverick, I’d rather have it this way than having to buy a car in the lot that isn’t exactly what I want. While the Maverick isn’t an electric vehicle, I’m a long time owner of a Nissan Leaf, and Tony and I had a long discussion about Ford’s electric vehicle future and the F150 Lighting. This is the first Ford and American car I’ve ever purchased in my nearly 50 years of driving. Im looking forward to working with this dealership when I buy my next Ford.
