Lexus of Portland
Dealership Sales Review
Not professional or ethical. My son saw a car listed on Kuni Lexus of Portland's website for $14,595 (shopping for his first car, he's 15). In the small print at the bottom of the page, there is a $100 doc fee not included in the price; okay understood. The salesman, Brian Ford, texted us two days after we saw the car and said: "Here is the proposal for you. Looks like they were able to knock off a couple hundred for you👍" The net price (which didn't include title or registration fees) was nearly $400 more than listed on the website. There were $499 in additional fees. Take $200 off the price and add back $499 in fees? My 15 year old son has been saving his money for this day, but the lesson he learned about a 'used car salesman' was probably worth more. I believe Kuni and their representatives were preying on my son's enthusiasm to buy his first car. We will shop elsewhere. We had a very poor experience.
