Hometown Toyota

What a mess... So we bought a Toyota 4 years ago here. Last week David called us and said he had someone wanting a 2014 prius and that he could save us a few hundred dollars a month and get us into a 2018. I pressed as we all know if it SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS! David assured me that was not the case and the deal was pretty much a done one. I told him the mileage of my current car and he said it was not a problem. So Duane and I drove down today to look at cars. David was busy so we got another young man, Cameron. NOTHING was what we were told it was. It was one BIG HUGE SCAM!!!! I ended up walking out and calling the manager, Mark. Who apologized and reworked the numbers. We were able to come to a deal that would work too get the new car. Not my call, if I had it my way I would not have given them my business after being LIED to just to get us to drive 120 miles. When we returned, Mark, the manager didn't even come out to say anything, I guess just convincing the customer to return is where is job is complete. So yes we are completely SUCKERED by the SCAM I guess they still win they got the sale!
