Wondering why the battery tested good on 1/5 and was dead on 1/19th.

The service was good. I waited because I had a dentist appointment right after and they were done in plenty of time. It was just an oil change and they didn't have reason to drive it or they might have noticed the alternator sound that I ignored thinking that it must be shocks. The truck broke down about 2 weeks later. The sound became increasingly louder, but I didn't think it was a problem because it had just been in the dealership and they would have surely noticed it. All system lights shut down on the freeway and the power steering went out as I pulled off. Both batteries were destroyed and one alternator had to be replaced. It had to be towed to the closet repair shop.
