Regional Hyundai

My experience with Regional Hyundai and their business mgr. was a bad one to say the least. My daughter purchased a car from them and her being a first time buyer did not know what to look out for in contracts and the added costs and dealer profit that can be tacked on to a used car purchase. Her purchase was a bad business decision on her part. There were $4489.00 worth of add on warranties and gap coverage added to the sale of the car. Where the problem come in is when we try to cancel the extended warranties and the gap insurance. All of the warranty and gap policies can be canceled at any time and the remaining money paid in be refunded. The finance and business mgrs. at Regional Hyundai will do everything to avoid completing the paper work needed to be filed with the warranty companies to get the refund process going. I see from reports on the BBB site that I am not the only one with this problem with this business mgr. The general mgr. with the dealer ship is also no help, he has someone screening his calls and will not return them. On my last visit to the dealer ship the business mgr. just flat out told me that to get the refund that I would have to hire a lawyer! Always check any business rating web site like Edmonds.com and the BBB.com for other people's experience with a company before you consider doing business with them. and as always let the BUYER BE WARE!
