Dealership Service Review
My new Ford F150 (less than 5000 miles) 4x4 scared me by "surging" as I came to a stop sign. The second time this happened I braked as hard as I could to avoid the car to my front. It was as though the transmission did not want to downshift. Klaben service told me I was stepping on the gas AND the brake - that there was nothing wrong with the truck. I tried to show them on-line stories of other ford owners with the same problem, but they would not read them. One such owner even wrote the fix to the problem (reprogram the PCM (powertrain control module)) but they refused to listen. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a Service Dept. I will never take a vehicle there again Ford complaint line asked me to take the Truck to another dealer and call them back with the results of that visit, which I will do after researching Dealership Service ratings
