Bait and switch
Written by buck65 on 11/13/2014

Running ad for 2013 used Dodge RT Max, we drive 85 miles to look at it and its not a RT Max. The pictures they are showing in the ad's are not even the pictures of the car they selling. They say "oops" but we have a new one we can sell you. A bad way to get customers in!

Dealer Response
In response to Buck65's review of our dealership we would like to comment and provide our half of his account. In actuality his drive from Fayetteville was 27 miles not 85 miles. However, we apologize for his inconvenience. At no point during the communication with the customer did he mention that the R/T Max package. The only concern he expressed about the vehicle was whether it had a spoiler or not. The pictures in the ad were wrong and we apologized profusely to Buck65. The VIN decode at a third party website, where he saw the vehicle decoded it as a R/T Max. It is an honest mistake and we apologized. We do not engage in bait and switch tactics here at Bleecker. Technology is an inexact science and sometimes there are mistakes. If we had known that he was only interested in the R/T Max package we would have let him know that his vehicle interest was not in our stock. We apologize for his poor experience at Bleecker. Our intention was to make his visit less frustrating by showing him another vehicle not to "bait and switch" him. We honored all of our commitments and honestly answered all of his questions regarding the vehicle.
