Dealership Sales Review
I went in with internet price, 4.5% below invoice, expecting to have a hard time with a deal that must have had some back-end tactics to make up for cost. I met with Lester who was a great no hassle salesman, did a great job of informing us and keeping the process going. The internet price was accurate and doc fees were normal for the area. Out the door price was great, seemingly due to end of month sales goal requirements. Hit a bit of a snag with trade in value but they came up reasonably after some deliberation. The paperwork with the finance guy, Dave, Got a little awkward when I wasn't interested in extending the bumper to bumper warranty, gap insurance, etc. I think they were hoping to make up some more profit on that portion, Tom to repeated attempts to tell him no before we could move on. I fear less convicted buyers might get swayed into purchasing something they were not interested in before getting to that final step. Overall though the process was very good, in and out in less than 3 hours including an extensive test drive.
