Charging thousands for a repair within 5 days of buying the car

onI purchased a used Range Rover and within 5 days of purchasing the car I had a computer warning telling me there was a L front suspension fault that would cost $2400 to fix. The general manager did not see fit to cover the cost of the repair 5 days after buying the car.
