Dealership Sales Review
The sales person I worked with was a fast talker. He slipped in a 7-year extended warranty, apparently mentioned it to me, but I didn't fully grasp what happened until I was almost ready to sign and finalize the deal. The agreement had already been sent to Honda HQ, so they needed to retract it to remove the warranty, and it took nearly an hour to do so. Also, I had put down a downpayment of $500 and had to ask about it to ensure I got it back, since it wasn't mentioned in the paperwork. The salesperson often made me feel like the delays and complications were entirely my fault. Which was partially the case, but just didn't help me feel great about the experience. Not once during the 3 hours did anyone apologize, ask me how I was doing, or offered me coffee or water.
