Towne Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Fall of 2010 we went in and made an agreement to purchase a 2003 Ford Windstar for the price of a check we had just received for our previous vehicle which had been totaled when it was rear-ended. We put $100.00 down to hold this vehicle at this price! When we went back in with the insurance check, they had crossed out the original price and raised it by about $1000.00!!!! With both my wife and I being disabled it took us months to come up with that extra money!!! Besides that, they said that the check engine light was on due to them "water from when they had washed the engine". Well according to multiple car parts store's computer code readers that light was during the test drive, and still is today, - on due to a faulty MAF (Mas Air Flow Sensor). This sensor is about $130-$150. That's not the only item that they illegally passed the NYS inspection on!!! There were also other items that cost over $300.00 to fix! (The MAF sensor would go out for 1-2 months at a time after I cleaned it with special spray cleaner, but would soon go back on.) I tried multiple times to complain about these problems and no one from there company would return my inquirers. And since both I and my wife are disabled, we can only be reached in the afternoons, but no one ever tried to get back to us! They just took our money and ran!!! I would recommend that if you want a descent used vehicle, or a dealership you can trust - stay as far away from this company as possible!!!
