Dealership Sales Review
I was looking around cars with a 2-6 months buying time frame. Visited Springfield Acura on 12/14, test drove an SUV and talked about price with a sales person. Frankly the price was pretty good. However, since I am not ready to buy, I left the dealership. I also wanted to get a sense of the value of my old car in the real world. Visited again on 12/21 and got a trade-in value way below my expectations and KBB fair value. Was going to leave. The sales Manager Jimmy came out and talked to me. He was clearly annoyed and spoke to me with utterly no respect. Stating he made a mistake giving me a great price, but he will honor it anyway. Questioning why I was not ready to buy but came in today to talk about trade in etc tec. I don't like to be pressured and forced to make a big commitment when I am not ready. Decided to leave. Clearly angry, Jimmy said the price he gave me will only be available by end of that day, despite during my last visit his sales person said it will be effective by the end of the month. When I went out of the door, he also said he doesn't want my business. I had a very bad experience at Springfield Acura that day. How can a sales manager at a luxury dealership behaving with such attitude and being so rude to customers? I was really shocked and I definitely will take my business elsewhere.
