Had a good time going through the process of trading in and purchasing a new MDX with Rich’s assistance. Also glad I spoke to Bill UPDATE:For the first 2 weeks all was fine and I'm enjoying the new MDX we bought. Earlier this week I received a letter from the bank that was providing my loan. Initially it was Honda Finance of America and a few days later found out that changed it to another bank. The insurance company had to tell me because the dealership had to contact them to make the new change on the documentation. So when I saw the rate of 4.9%, I couldn't believe it. Acura has been running an incentive of 1.9 and 2.9 % to those that qualify for less than 36 months and greater for each rate. Rich, the salesman said it shouldn't be a problem for the dealership to match the Acura rates, but I was wrong. Funny thing is that I know someone that purchased a new vehicle from them and they did get the Acura rate. I called the finance Dept and spoke to Jeff multiple times over the past few days. He told me he wasn't aware of them offering that rate. If Acura has it posted on their website and this dealer offered it in the past, why shouldn't they honor it now ? Well because they can add 2 % more that's why. Jeff was supposed to call me back and never did. I finally called him and he told me he had the answer for me, there was nothing I could do and I was stuck with that rate. At this point I blame myself for not having them show me the rate. He said it was in the contract, but even today I was not able to find it. Why would they offer higher rates, when Acura is offering better ones for those that qualify. So there is something I can do and the first thing is to let others know of my bad experience and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I also reached out to the bank and was able to negotiate a better rate with them. I have contacted Acura US Corporate office and plan on documenting to them of how Jeff, the shyster and the dealership can be misleading. Lastly, I also intend in sending a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, but I don't think it's going to help their already 1 star rating. So be careful !!

Two weeks ago I purchased a new 2017 MDX Tech from them. Thought everything was fine until about earlier this week when I received an email from the bank with my loan information. I checked my contract and did not see the loan rate mentioned anywhere and called Jeff at the finance dept. He said he would check and get back to me. Acura is offering 1.9 and 2.9 rates for financing for qualified members and when I was at the leadership mentioned that to Rich, the salesman. He said it should be available and that was the end of that conversation. The bank's letter said the rate was 4.9%, I was in total shock. Why wouldn't they honor the rate Acura/Honda was providing. I called Jeff the finance manager there and he said he would get back to me. Two days went by and he never called, I called him again and then he said he found the information he was looking for. He pretty much told me that was the rate and I was out of luck and couldn't do anything about it. But Jeff is wrong I can do something about it, I can write this review and let others know not to trust this shyster and to be careful, even thought they may tell you one thing, it may be something else. Why would a dealer not offer lower rates especially if that's something that's offered by Acura/Honda ? The other thing I did was reach out to the bank that has the loan and negotiate a better rate. They wanted my business and were willing go down to 2.9%. But why did I need to do the leg work to get that done, it should have been done by this dealership. And lastly I plan on letting Acura and Honda US Corporate office know of how this dealership presides as well as the Better Business Bureau. Springfield Acura already has a 1 start rating there, so I can't go any lower. I'm not surprised ! I have reached out to Edmunds to have original review and comments retracted, but they suggested adding an addendum to let people know of my experience.
