Outstanding Dealership in All Capacities

Victory Subaru, Somerset, NJ is an outstanding dealership with a full complement of professional, personable staff members in all capacities … management, sales, finance, customer service, car service, et al. I visited three other Subaru dealerships within central Jersey and this dealership exceeded all of the others with friendliness, patience, not rushing me to close a deal, willingness to listen to all of my concerns, professional atmosphere, good stock, fully capable service department, and the best price and most value for the money of all the dealerships, beating TrueCar and Costco prices. When I walked through the front door, I was greeted by a smiling young lady at the front desk plus a Sales Associate (Marcus). Within 10 minutes, both the Sales Manager and the General Sales Manager introduced themselves and we discussed what I wanted. They literally worked directly with me and Marcus to develop a car package that I would have been a fool to pass on. Before I left, Marcus walked me to the Service Department and introduced me to the main Service Consultant, so that I could address any questions or concerns for future service. I try to buy a car where I am confident in the service department and that is what I did here. The next day, I returned to pick up the car. The Financial Consultant introduced himself to me as soon as I entered. Later, I met with said Financial Consultant, who explained everything to me and finalized much paperwork, patiently and thoroughly explaining everything on each piece of paper that I signed or initialed, sometimes explaining twice to ensure that I fully understood and had no trepidations. Before I left, the Customer Service Representative introduced himself and offered to help me learn any of the features of the very complex car I bought – a 2020 Subaru Legacy Limited, fully loaded – and telling me to contact him, whenever I needed to talk to him about any concerns, explanations or lessons on the car features and capabilities. Finally, Marcus patiently spent over an hour explaining many of the numerous features, and this car has tons of features. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable driving it. He even set up the more common and useful settings for safety, comfort and convenience to make sure they were in place even before I left the lot. Some dealerships or sales persons might have just said read the manual. Not so here. Any time I want to learn more features, he assured me he would make himself available and spend as much time as needed for me to learn. Did I mention that this car has tons of features and over 120 computers that run the electronic aspects of the car. I left with a wonderful car, an amazing deal, a great relationship with the dealership staff, and confidence that my future experience with my Subaru Legacy and Victory Subaru will be positive in every conceivable way. And, I cannot say enough about the professional, calm, friendly, concerned, thorough approach that Marcus used. Honestly, it was like any other business meeting I have had in my extensive career in Information Technology. A true professional and I could not say enough good things about him. Ask for Marcus Bejar in sales if you want a car. ~ Joan Costello
