Early in August I had a problem starting the car after leaving it sitting for two or three days. From there it went to the battery not having enough charge to start the car two times. I brought the car in and Tom had the battery and the alternator tested and both appeared to check OK. Two weeks ago, I experienced the same problem and brought the car in again on October 14th. This time, although the battery passed the test again, Tom Dickman had the technician replace the battery. On October 17th and 18th I drove to Boston and back with no problems and none since although, I drove the car every two days until this past Sunday. From Sunday night 10/25, through Thursday night 10/29, I did not even attempt to start the car. That is the longest time without use since May! I started the car last night with no problem at all. Only goes to show that even though the battery passed the test, experience dictated that the problem was with the capacity of the battery to hold a charge. Tom knew that replacing the battery would be the only practical solution. His knowledge and skill is something that is irreplaceable and should be acknowledged. Thanks, Tom!
