Honda of Princeton

I recently visited Honda of Princeton with the idea of buying a new CRV. The salesperson was friendly & helpful with the test drive, but then quickly informed me that all the Hondas they sell here come with a mandatory $1000 "protection package" (aka a bunch of dealer add-ons to boost their profit). I started having flashbacks to the early 80's. What?? I confirmed this with the sales manager, who gave me a bunch of BS about how valuable all this stuff is (to HIS profit, not to my purchase, of course). I was so turned off that I went straight to my local Mazda dealer, test drove and purchased a new CX-5. No hard sell, no mandatory add-ons. When I add this recent experience to my poor past experience with this dealer's service dept, I would recommend you seek another Honda dealer, unless you enjoy being "taken for a ride" of a different kind.
