Dealership Service Review
I brought my car into your service dept. on 03/29/17. I spoke to Alex and explained to him what my issue with the car was. I explained that even though my car was completely silent and ran perfectly smooth it turned off without warning twice (even while driving) and the Engine light came on with a small shake right before shutting down. When I brought it in, Alex said he would take a look and let me know what he found. Same day Alex did call me back and explained that the following needed immediate attention: Hardness needed replacement, Oil Pan and one other thing I cant really remember aside from struts but that could have waited. During our conversation Alex also mentioned the above average condition of the car considering its age and mileage and even went so far to say that he wouldnt be surprised if (after applying the repair he said was urgently needed) my car didnt last me another five years (thats how good the car was maintained). So after keeping the car for 9 days I go to pick up my car since supposedly it was all fixed and tested. After paying a hefty $3800 I went to start my car and not only was there a loud metal sound banging coming from under the hood, the check engine light went right on and there was a shaking like an earthquake in my car. Obviously they took it right back apologetic and after going back and forth with them waiting on my car I was told 5hrs later that they would need to keep it cause something else went wrong, so they kept it for another 2 weeks. Saturday at roughly 2:15pm I picked it up and noticed immediately that the car wasnt right after starting it up for the first time. It suddenly sounded like a totally different engine, it was loud, clanging, sputtering . Gone was the smooth silent engine the mechanic praised me on when I brought it in. Now suddenly the mechanics are implying that its my fault and it was even suggested that I must have been driving the car this way for a long time which quite honestly, is totally irrelevant at this point, I was told that if I had the work the mechanic suggested done, Id have no more problems .Not only is the car in worst shape then when I brought it in, Im honestly afraid to drive it (let alone have my children in the car). I explained everything to them on Monday morning and requested either a refund me the money I paid and restore the car to the condition that I brought it in (Ill take it somewhere else to get fixed!) or take the car back and undo whatever it is that was done that made my car even more unstable then when I originally brought it in at no extra cost to me. I was told they would take the car back and try to fix it but Obviously I would still have to pay additional repairs. As of now, I have zero confidence in this service department and I am appalled that instead of your team owning up and correcting the mistake, turned around and tried to lay blame on me. I was told they will have management call me and speak to me but I still have not heard from them. STAY AWAY!!!!
