Acura of Ocean

My car's clutch was not working so I went to Acura of Ocean hoping they will let me know exactly what is wrong. They tell me my whole clutch needs to be replaced because "cracked flywheel, burnt clutch" cost $2000. Instead of paying the 2 grand, I took it to my friend's shop and ordered the parts online. My friend opens the car up and finds NOTHING WRONG with the clutch torque converter assembly. The only issue was the clutch master cylinder issue. I remember on the phone talking to the service guy telling him it feels like cylinder problem because the clutch feels odd and is making noise. He told me clutch master cylinders almost never go bad. Well Well, I had to spend $1000 on unnecessary repairs since I had my friend open it up, I told him to just replace the clutch parts that wear out. Flywheel is FINE so he left it in. DO NOT TRUST ACURA OF OCEAN!
