Dealership Sales Review
Leased a new 428i xDrive convertible from Mark Kaminski and his assistant, Ari Ouimet. I have purchased or leased many vehicles over the years, and this was, by far, the smoothest, least stressful experience I've ever had. We walked in on Sat of Memorial Day weekend, and the receptionist referred us to Mark, who apparently is one of their premier client advisors. We weren't sure which vehicle we wanted, and wanted to test drive 4. No problem. Even though the dealership was quite busy and Mark had another customer, he sat down with us, determined our needs and interest, and quickly introduced us to Ari - who we soon found to be a very nice, knowledgeable and professional young man - who showed us all four of the 3 and 4 series vehicles we were considering. He showed his excellent product knowledge and expertise in describing the benefits of each car we drove, and we never felt rushed, we took all the time we wanted and successfully narrowed down our choice. He really is a quality young man who took very good care of us. We then returned to Mark who has a very businesslike, pragmatic, no nonsense approach in dealing with his customers. I really liked that too. For example,instead of the getting up back and forth to check with his sales manager game we have all seen whe negotiating the price of a new car, when I had a question Mark couldn't answer, we all got up and went over to meet his sales manager at his desk. This is when I had the pleasure of meeting John Spoltore, New Vehicle Sales Manager. Another "no spin" professional, he answered the question politely and honestly, and really moved us forward in the process. All three guys were straight shooters, didn't play games, treated my wife and I professionally and with respect, avoiding the patronizing platitudes you hear so often elsewhere. After thinking it over, when we returned on Memorial Day Mon to close the deal, the car we were interested in (but didn't leave a deposit on) had been sold. Undeterred, instead of trying to sell is another color or car we didn't want, Mark quickly found a vehicle in the same color with similar equipment already in transit. And, even though this incoming car had an additional option not on the other car, Mark and John still kept our lease payment the same as previously promised. That really impressed me, because i was already pretty happy with the deal I had on the first car! As promised, the car arrived within about 2 weeks. The delivery experience as as good as the sales experience, the car was prepped beautifully, in showroom condition. And even though the "Genius" was unavailable, Ari took us thorough most of the basic principles for the various tech gadgets in the car, and we have an appointment for a session with the "Genius" shortly. Also want to give a thumbs up to Doreen in the Finance Department, who had our paperwork all ready and handled all quickly, efficiently, and in a personable and friendly manner. Ion summary, I can only hope our service experience will be even half as good as the sales experience. For now, I am a very "happy camper" and look forward to a continued relationship with the Mt Laurel team for future lease or purchases.
