My wife went to check out a new car. The salesman spent about an hour and a half with her over 2 days. When she asked for a price he told her he would prefer to deal with her husband! When I called him he would not give me a price over the phone. I told him every other dealership gave me a price and that my wife only went to this dealership so he should know we are serious buyers. He insisted that I come into the dealership and that he has never lost a deal on price. He finally gave me a price that was $2,000 higher than the average price I received from 5 other dealers. I told him unless he gave me a better price I will not come in. He again stated he never lost a deal on price. I told him he just did.
