Dealership Sales Review
You know how Cherry Hill Subaru's website says "The only deal we can't beat is the one we don't know about!!"? It's NOT TRUE. We got a really strong email price quote on a 2010 Silver Forester Premium from [another dealership]. Before going there we stopped at Cherry Hill because they had a Paprika Red on their lot (the color I'd prefer) and they advertise on their website and told us TWICE over the phone that they would match any better price we have in writing from a competitor. The sales manager, Nick, told us, "all you need to do is bring in the email quote and we'll match it." Turns out that was not true. They wouldn't match the price because, they said, they couldn't be sure the email from [the other dealership] wasn't bogus! Which is just their way of deflecting the blame for breaking their promise to match the price that we received in good faith from their fellow dealer. Tonight we head to [the other dealership], where we should have gone in the first place. Hopefully at [the other dealership] they understand the importance of keeping your promises.
