Dealership Sales Review
First, my brief encounter with the service department was excellent. You will like the service manager, Scott. I went with my daughter to purchase an Elantra. We were told she would have the car by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. This was the first of several promises made and not kept. Delivery was important because she was moving in a couple of weeks. She got the car on Friday and was promised the plates by the following Friday. The person in charge of plates filled out a sheet with her personal information, including her social security number, and then promptly lost it. No one seems to know what happened to it. When the plates were not delivered as promised, I spoke with a sales manager Al. He assured me she would have them by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. No go. The saleman then promised to personally deliver them to our home Thursday. When that didn't happen, he assured me we would have it by Friday noon. Wrong again! Another sales manager assured me my daughter would have the plates before the temporary permit expired. One more promise not kept.
