Lynnes Hyundai
Dealership Sales Review
My experience with Lynnes Hyundai in Bloomfield was absolutely HORRIBLE. As a GM fan, I was interested in a preowned Buick Century on their website and called to make sure the car hadnt been sold. Jim confirmed the cars availability, provided directions and asked when I would be in. Although I told Jim I was going to try to get there that day, I was unable to make the 20 miles to them after work. The following day I called Lynnes and again spoke with Jim. I told him I was going to take some time off of work that morning to come by and see the car so I wanted to double-check the cars availability. Again he took the stock number, looked it up, and said yes the car was still available. When we got to Lynnes, the man at reception called Jim, who gave the fellow at reception a printout of the car we were interested in and said the other man would be helping us. After taking us to an off-site lot not far from the dealership, the salesman spoke with the lot caretaker for a minute then said that the car had already been sold. I really couldnt believe that after confirming the cars availability that morning-so we wouldnt make a wasted trip-I took time off of work and drove the 20 miles to their dealership only to be told the car had been sold. Really, is looking up a stock number in a computer too complicated for them?? My impression was that the car was a come-on and never existed. I think they just wanted to get us in the door so we could be sold something else because when we said that wed follow the salesman over to the other lot in our car-and he didnt get an opportunity to try to sell us another vehicle-his attitude changed right away. My advice? Stay away!
