Dealership Service Review
Called for an appointment for an oil change and service person indicated that my car had a couple recalls too. Took in in late Thursday night cause i figured it would take a bit more time cause of the recalls. When dropping the car off I was advised there were no recalls. Thus I didn’t need to arrange a ride or leave it. Since I was already there, I left it over night for the oil change. Called around noon the next day cause I didn’t hear anything back and they said it would be ready later in the afternoon. Service person said was very busy morning and they didn’t get to it yet but will soon. Said should have been ready in the morning and that an oil change should not take that long especially if I had stayed there. That would have been three plus hours I would have had to wait. Complained to service person who apologized and said car is going in right now and that a shuttle service was coming to pick me up to get my car. Driver was good and made it to the dealership to get my car. Again service person apologized. Got car home and when went out to move it there were multiple oil spots in my driveway. Moved the car to another spot and there were more after it sat. Looked under the car and all around the filter was wet with oil all over the plastic housing that prob wasn’t removed to get to the filter. Oil went all over that and the suspension. Hoping nothing worse happens but very disappointed in Serra that they rushed a job and didn’t seem to do it correctly. Should have removed the housing or at least wiped the oil off from underneath. Prob won’t be back for service or a purchase.
