Herb Chambers Porsche

A bit shicking to write areview like this for what one would perceive to be a reputable Prosche dealership. Perhaps the economy is making everyone lose their self repsect and principles. I made and offer of $45K for a 2008 Cayman S, VIN WP0AB29878U780246, to sales rep Josh Morrison. He checked with his Manager and called me back40 mines after 9am to say they had accepted the offer as long as I bought the car that day. I provided a credit card over the phone for the deposit and provided my details as well as thedtaisl for my pre-approved financing. done deal nice and easy. Two hours later I get a call from Josh Morrison to say that George Chambers had arrived at work and woud not honor the dela made earlier that morning by his sales rep and general manager. They offered me the same car without the Porsche certified warranty for 6 years and 100k miles whic was part fo the deal. In fac the car is liste do ntheir website as a certified sales. I obviously could not accept being deceivd and declined the deal. I am still a bit shocked and confused that Porsche could allow such tactics to exist in their delaer network. this is the second horrible experience I have had in 5 days with two dealerships the other being Porsche of Stratham NH. I have decided that Porsche has no honorable dealers and will not purchase a Porsche this year if ever.
