onI purchased a preowned certified audi 4S w/ approx 8500 miles. After driving only 5,000 miles all 4 tires needed to be replaced. The Silver Spring dealership claimed that was normal for "Summer tires". I had to purchase new tires for $1200 after only 5,000 miles. In addition the tires on the auto were Michelin tires which were not the original tires which should have been Continental. The dealership was unwilling to take any accountability. I would not purchase another automobile from them. By the way I love my car and definitely would purchase another Audi but not from them.

Dealer Response
drgene53,
Thank you for taking the time to review Audi Silver Spring. We are very happy to hear you love your S4. Prior to sale, every pre-owned vehicle is thoroughly inspected in our service department. At the time the car was inspected tread depth was 7/32 which is well over 50% of tread life and is the requirement for Audi Certification. Tire wear varies greatly depending upon tire composition, driving conditions, and driving habits. Performance tires, such as the ones on your S4, are made from a softer compound and do wear more quickly than other tires. There are several different tire brands Audi uses on their vehicles, including both Michelin and Continental. If you would like to further discuss, please contact our General Sales Manager, Michael DiGiovanni, at mdigiovanni@mileone.com or 301-679-4072.
Thank you.
