Dan Cummins Chevrolet Buick of Georgetown
Dealership Sales Review
Honestly, Dan Cummins (DC) can improve in many ways. We went to purchase a SUV and there was a lot that just went wrong. They did not act as if they wanted to earn our business. There was no attempt to work with us and multiple times we were told “no budging” on the price. Once this happened, we left to shop elsewhere. I found a Jeep local just like the one Dan Cummins had and it was $2K cheaper. I sent the link to DC and all the sudden they want to work with us. They told us over the phone they would knock $1,000 off the price. We were also promised 0% financing and lifetime power train warranty. When we arrive to the dealership to sign papers, they only gave us $500 off and they couldn’t do the 0% financing because “the event ended”. We were also told other things that were not true. (Jeep Wave program, 72-hour exchange policy, and it has a full size spare tire) Jeep wave- when the salesman was trying to earn our business after we were ready to walk out, he told us he would “throw in” the Jeep wave if we bought the Jeep. He explained that the Jeep Wave was a program that provided free oil changes for 3 years, $1,000 trip reimbursement and free rental car. He acted as if this was something he was only giving us. This was a lie. The Jeep Wave program comes with ALL new Jeep purchases. It also does NOT come with 3 years of free oil changes. It only pays for the first 3. 72 hour exchange policy- we were told about the 72 hour exchange policy or the Jeep but the salesman failed to tell us that it would be for a vehicle of equal or greater value. Full size spare tire- the spare tire is not full size. One last thing, the detailing of the Jeep was not great. They left the buyer’s guide sticker on the window! The wheels were dirty, finger prints all down the side of the Jeep and on the touchscreen.
