No matter what you do, do NOT buy a car from any of the Bob Rohrman dealerships. After being in a serious car accident in the process of moving to Indiana, my car was totaled and I was unexpectedly forced to buy a new vehicle. Being new to the area, I went to Rohrman, thinking it was a reputable dealership. Boy, was I wrong. They are only interested in getting your money. After telling them that I wasn't sure if I wanted bumper to bumper warranty coverage on the 2007 Hyundai I purchased, I had them draw up two contracts, one that billed the price of the car with the warranty, the other without. I originally wrote a check for the price including warranty but made it clear that I was unsure if I wanted it. They told me to let them know within two weeks if I changed my mind (they weren't supposed to cash the check anyway until the insurance money for my totaled car came through). After a day, I decided that I was overcharged for the car anyway and didn't want to pay an additional $1500 the warranty. I called the dealership so that I could write a new check. I called the dealership four or five times over the course of three days or so and never got any return calls.I then wrote a letter and was finally forced to go to the dealership in person, first to settle the payment and second to have the interior of the car cleaned (it was given to me with a positively filthy intererior.) You may ask why I had the car before the check had been run through. Well, strangely enough, Rohrman's wanted me to take the car off the lot before the insurance payment had come through. When I finally got through to the person who had sold me the car (after leaving a week's worth of messages), he got very combative, accusing me of "not having left him a voicemail," which, according to him, was the reason why I had never heard from him. Suffice it to say, the voicemail accusation was completely unfounded and it took the dealership a week for anyone to get back to me, despite my leaving multiple messages with several people. A month after I've had the car, the interior still isn't properly cleaned, and the dealership did not ever send me the title. It apparently arrived in their offices three weeks ago and no one cared to tell me (in fact, they originally told me they were going to send it). The people at Rohrman's have been nothing but rude and highly unprofessional, and the sense that they care not a whit for customers is palpable. Also, since I've been in the area for over a month now, I notice that many locals shrink back in distaste at the mere mention of Rohrman. Try your luck in Indianapolis or Chicago and definitely ask around, but do not give this place your business!
