Coyle Chevrolet Buick GMC
Dealership Sales Review
Absolutely the worst experience ever. First they gave me a unreasonable trade offer for my 2012 Camry. Kenny G who is the Sales Team Leader told me the reason was because they needed to put new tires on my Camry. I'm sure he was mistaking me for another customer since my Camry was serviced by Toyota and tires rotated every oil change. The tires looked great with normal tread wear especially since my Camry only had 30000 miles on it. Lol Anyway the new truck they had pictured on their website wasn't even the truck they had. Kenny admitted to the mistake and convinced me to try a dealer locate for the truck I wanted. When they did a dealer locate they said after the weekend the truck they found for me would be at their dealership. Went to john johns of corydon and they found the same truck as coyle. Well turns out the dealership in ohio had already sold that truck. I had given coyle $100 to hold this supposed truck in ohio. When I went back to Coyle I asked for my deposit back. Kenny told me a big fat lie and said he had already paid for a driver to pick it up. He said the truck would be there next week and tried to make it sound like I couldn't walk away from their deal. A deal on a truck that was already sold. lol I informed Kenny that he was full of it and the truck was no longer available. Then he tried to tell me why I should buy a truck from them is because of their awesome service department. Not sure who buys a vehicle just for the service department? I asked politely over and over to refund my $100. After sitting outside for over 45 mins fuming because of being lied to over and over I went inside. Again I asked what the hold up was. One of the managers behind the counter who was Rick Siers New Car Manager again tried to convince me to buy a truck from them. This time it seemed like I was trying to be strong armed. I gave them my honest opinion about the situation when the new car manager decided to interrupt me and say you only live once.....we don't want to sell you a car anyway. I expressed my concerns in a unpleasant manner and this guy decided to get tough by jumping out of his chair and walking at me in a very threatening manner. When I called him out he cover his tracks by saying he was trying to get my Visa Card to refund me. Kinda weird when your surrounded by salesmen and he comes at me damn near running. I finally got my refund but at a cost. I am a disabled veteran and spent 12 years in law enforcement before I had to disability retire. I consider myself a very patient person. This was the worst experience I've ever had from a dealership. Being lied to, tried to strong arm me into buying and almost being assaulted is how you sell cars? Not sure how long this dealership can last if that's an accepted business practice. I bought a truck a John Jones with no hassle and saved closed to 4000 off the same truck that Coyle tried to sell me. Not saying go to John Jones. Just don't go to Coyle
