I had a very nice vehicle to trade-in, she actually want it, but offered a super low price after test drive my truck (the lowest among all dealers I visited). I figured out it's not worth to negotiate with her. When I got on my car, she stopped me and tries to negotiate with me, ask me "How did you come up with you price, I'm just curious." Of course she was not just curious so I didn't tell her what other dealers offer. I knew she wanted my truck but she really lose credit for that! She just expected people are moving out of the country or have little knowledge about the car. If you really want the deal, give a reasonable price, if not, don't waste me an hour. I really don't know how did she get a pre-owned manager position, I would fire her if I was the boss of that dealer.
