I requested an internet price on an RDX on their website. Instead I got a call from a salesmen telling me I needed to come in to get a price. Once I indicated that without a price quote, I wasn't interested, I got an email with a non-competitive quote. A follow-up call from the salesmen indicated that I asked for a quote and he gave one. If I wanted an aggressive quote, I had to come to the dealer. Not for me.

Traditionally, the car business is a "Face to Face" affair and many of our salesmen prefer to work with customers that way. I understand that times have changed and many people are not able to come into the dealership personally to negotiate.
