Five Star Nissan

To whom it may concern. I was at the local Nissan dealership 8 19 2010 in Warner Robins to purchase a new Nissan. Matter of fact i spent 8 to 9 hours there. Mostly going back & forth with the Closer & the salesman concerning price matters and the model and color I wanted. First they were gonna throw in a set of floor mats (floor mats included on window sticker) acted like they didnt know. Both the Closer (Sales Manager) & salesman wanted to be [violative content deleted]. The salesman was also the internet manager. One of my main concerns was color. They didnt have it and said they could get it for me at one time at no extra cost and then another for a certain cost to go and obtain the car from another dealership. Offered me 4 free car washes & also 5 tanks of gas after the sale. Asked about a Nissan ext. warrenty and was offered one at a inflated price. Finally after all these hours i was tired and worn out from the experience. I told salesman i would be back the next morning and see if we could not settle the deal. The next morning i got up early and went to another dealership in Macon,Ga. That dealer did not have the color i preferred and said he had to sale what was on his lot. In the meantime i called salesman at Warner Robins dealership and told him i was gonna settle on a color i really didnt want because the dealership seemed more honest. They also had this same color (black) identical in model to both dealerships. I could go on and on about this experience but the bottom line is i purchased this car in Macon at a $4000.00 savings overall. It was the plain jane Altima 2.5 not the 2.5 S . I felt like after purchasing that if i had purchased in Warner Robins i was about to be scammed. This so called 5 Star dealer has 9 different dealerships in Warner Robins & Macon. So buyers beware if your money comes as hard as mind stay away from the Stars and go to a family owned dealership that has been in business over 40 years !
