I just retired after a 44 year career as an industrial sales manager for a major chemical company. I spent the majority of those years hiring and working with professional salespeople. I learned that the BEST salespeople were NOT those who pushed a product on a customer or used an aggressive approach. The BEST salespeople are those who endeavor to HELP a customer buy what they want! Tim McCartney is THAT kind of salesperson. I've learned over the years that customers want to BUY...they do NOT want to be SOLD. It takes a special salesperson to recognize that customer desire. Tim gets that. I would have loved to have had him as part of the organization that I served for all those years.
