VC Cars Gwinnett
Dealership Sales Review
I brought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata on 7.29.2019 something told me not to purchase this vehicle and my lack of better judgment I did. I really wish I had went to Atlanta Best Used Cars, as I started to. Juan was a nice guy but, they sold me a Lemon. I told him and the sales manager that I was in need of a dependable car, and would be traveling back and fourth from Atlanta to Washington DC. I had my eyes locked on the Sonata, and they had to jump start it. It cranked right up and I was told they would change the battery. I was a bit weary, but since they changed the battery and it started right up, I was like okay. Then I second guess my self, because the tires was bad, and it was missing the fuse top. I was told they would replace both. So I proceeded, I saw another Toyota that the owner was driving and really wanted it but, I was talked into this LEmon. Fast forward, after the purchase I was grated two used ties, a used battery, and the fuse cap to cover the fuse box was never replaced. This car has been towed into the dealership at least 5 times since I purchased it. I've replaced the battery 3 times. Now I'm waiting to hear back from the dealership again. After leaving this car sitting for two days the battery dies and I believe its an electrical problem. You cant tell me VC Cars didn't know it was something wrong with this car. It sat on their LOT for at least a year.. I really thought this was a stand up dealership and they really pride themselves in customer satisfaction. This was a bad deal from start to finish and they know this. Now I'm stranded in Maryland no car, and have paid out the pocket 1k in towing and because they put the wrong battery in my car, I could have even more issues. Also after being promised the case to cover the fuse, that was missing which lets me know, that they were trying to find out the electrical problem and the person who was checking it forgot to put the top back on Juan still never reissue or sent me the top to cover the fuse. So my fuse box is open and if the window is cracked water can leak into it. this is extremely unsafe. I was told he couldn't find another one. I guess the dealership in Georgia doesn't have one. I'll purchase it here in Maryland.
