Troncalli Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Dealership Service Review
My PT Cruiser had a computer defect. The service dept confirmed that Chrysler had issued an update for the software. My vehicle is within the mileage limit on the warranty but two months past the 3-year mark. So, they told me it would cost nearly $200 just to flash the computer (which is a matter of plugging in the device and pushing a button.) Then, they refused to put me in contact with the area Chrysler rep. to see if Chrysler would go ahead and cover it. They also tried to convince me that my brakes were in dire need of a brake job. But I had just had the whole vehicle serviced two weeks before, including a brake inspection, by a mechanic that I have trusted for almost 10 years. Oddly enough, their poor service has probably cost them far more than the $200. I really liked my PT Cruiser and was planning on trading it in in a few months on a newer model. I would have liked to deal with Troncalli because of their proximity to my home. But, after such poor service, I will take my business elsewhere and recommend the same course of action to others.
