At a time where new cars are hard to come by and those who do have new cars are treating the cars like the hottest ticket in town, dealerships are creating bidding wars and jacking prices up with packages, just because they can. I had to drive three hours, to another state, to obtain a fair and honest deal. The bulk of the reservation and deposit on the car was done over the phone and I was still nervous about my reservation after dealing with all the other dealerships but once I got there, everything was ready for me! We met with sales person and finance person and we were done within just a few hours. The atmosphere at the dealership was one where I felt they appreciated our business, even though anyone would have snatched the car up if I hadn't. It was a breath of fresh air after all the sleazy dealerships I had been in contact with!
