AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram North Columbus
Dealership Service Review
This service department is one of the worst I have dealt with my last visit. My 2016 Fiat 500x was first serviced in February 2023, due an engine service light activation. I live in the southern portion of Atlanta, I had my car towed to Auto Nation for service. Auto Nation had my car from 7-10 Feb , did a diagnostic test (parasitic draw test) and determined the problem was my battery. They replace the battery which cost 581.16 dollars. ok the car ran well until 9 Apr same problem service engine notification came back on. I had it towed to Auto Nation on 10 Apr for additional service. The service advisor called a couple of days later and stated they would running a diagnostic test again to see if they determine what causing the problem. I asked while they are doing that could you check my tires on the right passenger side, thought I needed a balance/tire realignment. I waited for a few days after that for the service advisor to update me on the status of my car. Finally receive a call on 14 Apr stating that diagnosis determined the mirror needs to be replace, which is covered under my extended warranty. They had a problem getting the tires off due to the lock being stripped. He stated he would one from Atlanta which may take 3-5 days to received. Well I waited for the 5 day period, did not receive any information. Called back to the dealership, still waiting on the part. Finally on 28 April the service advisor had a discussion of what is taking so long to get the lock. Now he stated initially they had ordered, well come to find out no one had ordered it. My car was just sitting there for nothing. The advisor then stated he did not tell me anything about ordering the part from Atlanta. Where would I get this from unless you told me was the debate. We have to orders those particular items from the manufacture not sure how long that would take.. I told to forget about the balance and alignment I will be picking my car up that Saturday 30 Apr. We went to pick it up, paid my deductible (200.00 dollars) and left. Once I got home I realized one of my hub caps was missing (right passenger wheel). I called the service department and spoke to my advisor, he stated "he believe it was the parking area and someone ran over it. He had to check and call me back". True enough it was my hub cap, whoever tried to work on my vehicle did not place it securely back on. The service advisor told me he would order me another one and also the wheel lock from the manufacturer. I asked if he could mail those items to me, he said yes. Just gonna to wait an see if this happens. I will never go back for any type of service. Conducting business like that is so sad and pathetic.
