Dealership Sales Review
We purchased a new Ford F150 from Jim Ellis Ford. I saw the car listed on autotrader and called. The website listing was clear with all details and the window sticker in the listing. Great for shoppers! The negotiation process was easy and pain free. We added a spray-in bed liner and hard tonneau cover. The sales manager and salesman said the car would be ready at 11 am on the day we were to pick it up. When we drove 4 hours to get to the dealership, the bed liner was in but not the hard tonneau cover. We FINALLY left the dealership at 6:30pm with a 4 hour return trip ahead of us. We also traded in a car and the check was not given to us that day as they said the accounting department was not available. The same held true for the next 5 days. We even said we would drive 4 hours back and get our trade (and we meant it) but they would not do that either. The check was finally sent overnight via FedEx. The vehicle we traded in was already listed on their website for sale before accounting could write us a check...really????? I would not recommend this dealership due to the very poor process to pick up our vehicle and the ridiculous amount of time to receive payment for our trade-in.
