I had an appointment to get an oil change and a tire rotation at 9 AM. The very helpful service advisor told me it would be ready by 1 pm. I never understand why a scheduled appointment for an oil change. Takes five hours. When I arrive to pick up my car, my car is not ready. He tells me it’ll be an hour or two more. We are now talking about a seven hour oil change. I had to talk to him multiple times because he kept on saying 10 minutes more and it kept on being delayed. The service advisor was quite apologetic, but Rick service department needs to do better. Not only did it take me three weeks to get it scheduled appointment for an oil change, but it took all day to get the oil changed done. When I finally received my car the windshield wiper fluid did not work, which is one of the things that he told me they would check when they did the oil change. Also, my car was dirty. You would think that if you have a customer waiting for seven hours for an oil change, you would run it through the car wash before handing it to them. If it wasn’t for the fact that I purchased a service plan, I would not be going back, but unfortunately, the service plan has been purchased and cannot be used at any other Kia dealer.
