Car buying is always difficult. I worked with JR who helped ease my anxiety I had buying a used vehicle. All in all I found the experience with shopping at Sarasota Ford very pleasant. This is my second used car I purchased through them and so have also recommended this dealership to my family as well. Trade in on my truck went very well and offer met my expectations. They even made sure to work the offer a little higher after I asked. Purchase price on used car priced very competitively according to other similar autos I was looking at. There was a surprise in financing. It wasn’t with the rate that matched my banks rate. The issue was the warranty. I have worked on cars my whole life so fixing thinks never has been a challenge, but I do recognize my limits with newer cars. Anyways, I didn’t intend to buy one I actually never do and have never had issues. The finance sales guy highly recommended it because of the priciness to repair Beamers. I’m not sure I could argue since I never owned a Beamer before so bought basic warranty for 4 years. All in all the price out the door was in my price range but financed one more year to make it work. Warranties are not cheap so I recommend warranty guy sell this first so your bottom line number is not a surprise or recognize this will be another hard conversation. Never fails though in any sales, warranty is always last,and always a surprise. All in all great experience, so I recommend Sarasota Ford.
