Joey Accardi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
Dealership Sales Review
Walked in with a finance approval and was ready to buy. First I wandered around the lot for about 10 minutes (no sales people) and located the car I saw online which was much higher in price ($2000 more) then advertised online. Then walked into showroom and stood at the door for about 2-3 minutes before an older sales guy (won't mention name) barely looked like he wanted to assist me. I told him what I wanted and that I had financing already. I mentioned the price difference and he said he'd give it to me for the cost shown online but then mumbled how he doesn't understand why they post such low prices online. I'm assuming its because it cuts into his commission. The test drive was boring, sales guy had no personality. I kept thinking why would I buy from someone who shows no interest in the customer barely having a conversation. It was like I was driving my grandfather to his doctors appointment. We get back and I ask what the total price is. He goes and stands in this weird glass box where the finance manager is. 5 minutes later he comes over to me and plops down a sheet of white paper with a price on it written in sharpie. He then has a stack of papers as if I'm ready to sign on the dotted line. I'm thinking at this point, this guy must think I'm a fool. I then asked him for something more official to show the breakdown of the cars price (you know... tax, tag, title, dealer fees) and he looks as me like I'm an idiot and pushes the white sheet of paper closer to me and says here. At this point I was done. I told him I'm leaving and will talk to my husband. He then tells me I need to go tell the finance guy that I am leaving so I did. What sales guy in their right mind would let me walk out without trying to offer me a better deal to sell a car? At NO point was I offered an official written breakdown of the price, I was NOT offered to speak with finance to see if maybe they could get me a lower finance rate and basically I left the dealership feeling like I had completely wasted my time and confirmed why I hate car shopping. Needless to say, the next dealership I went to right afterwards was everything I wanted out of my car shopping experience. Not only did they give me a great deal on the same exact car (color, interior, miles) but they also got me a much better financing deal. Chrysler Jeep of North Broward lost out on a $21k sale. And NO I will not recommend them to anyone. I've already told several friends about my experience and they all agree I was correct in walking out and taking my business elsewhere.
