I called Auto Nation 3707 W Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL, regarding the windshield wiper recall and asked agent on phone, if the parts were in? Told them I had received the letter from manufacturer that parts had been provided to dealers., agent put me on hold, supposedly called Parts, came back to say they had the parts. We scheduled the appointment for 11/28/22 at 8:00AM. On Monday, 11/28/22 at the appointment time, waited in line for next available advisor. Advisor asked why I brought my car in? For the windshield wiper recall, I stated and gave him my copy of the recall letter. Which he kept. Advisor asked if my wipers were still working and I said yes. He said the car may not be ready on Monday, but I told him when I scheduled the appointment I was told it would only take one day. He did his paperwork took my key and went out to inspect the car which included photos of the exterior of the vehicle. I signed paperwork and was never told that the parts weren’t in. I left my car .So Tuesday 11/29/22 I called because I didn’t hear from the advisor to see if my car was ready. Agent who answered said it was. So I got a ride to go pick up my car. I arrived late afternoon only to find out from the advisor who checked the car in on Monday that the work had not been done? I was livid. I asked why I hadn’t been informed that the work had not been done. Advisor told me he had reached out to me, but I am certain I got nothing. I was upset, and yes I did use some verbiage that was not pleasant. The advisor called someone named Bryan, I think his name was. Bryan only made a bad situation worse. Bryan told me that the advisor was being generous when he told me two days. He told me that Auto Nation could actually keep my car for up to five days. I asked why if it’s just sitting in the lot? I said they were full of it and asked for my car. Bryan volunteered to bring me my car. I left and the only thing I got from Auto Nation was this survey, a reminder to do the survey and sirus radio for three months.
