they don't do safety checks when they say they do!
Written by skilo0918 on 01/06/2016

In august I purchased a 2007 BMW 525xi, aside of many other issues I had and still do, I was told that the car passed the safety check that the state require but when I drove out the dealer the car started to jerk. I called the dealer and asked to tell them that the car was jerking when I drive so and if the car passed the safety check how they didn't spot that, their response was they might of over looked it. So they rushed the car in and it turned out that one of my cyclenders was misfiring, again I got the car as fixed and when I drove out it did it again so I went back and it turned out that another cycleder was misfiring too so they went ahead and did a full turn up, so after that I just kept finding more problems , I then started having braking noise oafter 5000 miles and when I complian about it they told me that they not required to put good brakes on the car , I also paid for lifetime oil change and then after driving the car I had to put more oil in the car when I was way far from the miles they told me I had to get the next oil change, and then to top it off on December 30 I parked the xcar on a hill and it rolled back and got stuck against another car, there was a main intersection down the here where a city bus was unloading people even the police said that if the car that my car stuck on wasn't there this could of been fatel. The next day I went to the dealer to tell him what happen and to see if he was willing to make it right and he told us that it wasn't his problem even when I told him I could of killed people he said that wasn't his problem. My fiance asked twice if he will sale a car with problems and he went around the subject but on the third time she ask him if he knows if the car has transmission problems would he still sale the car and in front of everybody he said yes, he said that they don't check these cars when they get them but then they tell people that the car pass the state safety check.after this problem I did my research and this problem has happen to a lot of people, people these car are not safe even though they tell you that the car passes the safety check , I do believe they don't do the safety checks on these cars and write them off as they do and they charge you full price for those cars, they are going to get someone hurt or killed by saleing bad cars and the manager mike has a nasty attitude and what he is doing is not right and needs to be stopped, the BBC has a lot of complaint s about bad saling practices and don't understand how they still doing, maybe its going to have to take someone dying for something to happen. People be safe and go elsewhere.
