Dealership Sales Review

Worked a deal for my friend from Germany who flew in to buy a Mustang and the day he arrived they informed us the car was sold to someone else 4 days prior. I am dumbfounded. Completely unapologetic. Chris in sales dropped the ball at every opportunity, and TJ, his manager, ended up completely incompetent. Shop here at your own risk.

Dealer Response
Here's what really happened. This customer from Germany had his friend call to try and work a deal for him. A Better Way Wholesalers explained everything thoroughly and explained to the "friend" that we are an extremely high volume dealership! We sell well over 500 vehicles per month! A lot of out of state customers truly just cant grasp how huge we really are. With that said, It's pretty simple. We are a car dealership, we are in the business to sell cars! Car dealerships sell cars on a first come first serve basis. It's sales 101! If you chose to NOT leave a deposit to secure a vehicle for you that vehicle could sell to the other 50 customers interested in it as well. This is common sense and basic sales. This customer was offered the option to leave a deposit on this vehicle to secure it so that it would be guaranteed to be here by time they decided to come in and again said NO. REFUSED to do so and understood that, that meant that the vehicle could sell at any time and there were NO guarantee's it would still be here when they arrived. They completely understood that. So the vehicle sold, rightfully to a customer who was serious about buying it. Also, absolutely in no way did this customer fly in from Germany! We do not understand the need to tell stories. They DID NOT come into our dealership once! These customers last said they were going to call us back and let us know what they have decided to do. Needless to say we never heard back from them. A Better way wholesalers handled these customers properly.
