Foundation Kia

Foundation Kia sold me a Certified Pre-Owned Kia EV6 with a mouse living in it. The dealer knew something was wrong because between our 1st test drive and 2nd test drive, the dealer 'cleaned' and air freshened the car. But they didn't clean well enough to notice mouse droppings throughout the car. After spending our money at this dealership, our treatment by this dealer has been terrible. We bought the car on Saturday, August 17. On Sunday, August 31 I noticed the car smelled and found mouse droppings in the car. We didn't notice the smell sooner due to the strong air freshner that was used in the car. Once we looked, we found mouse droppings all over, including under the rear seats, in the rear storage space, and near the subwoofer in back. The mouse has also chewed up fabric items in the car, including a deodorizer bag left by the dealer. We have never had a mouse in our garage or in the other car stored in our garage. This is only a mouse problem in the Kia EV6. My partner and I both work full time, and he is also taking graduate classes, so it is difficult to bring the car in on a weekday. When I brought it back on Saturday, September 7th, the service department refused to help me because I hadn't made an appointment. And the salesperson and finance person challenged me for not calling about the problem, not making an appointment, and not bringing in the car sooner. They refused to help me and told me to talk with the general manager, but the manager wouldn't be in until Monday. When my partner returned on Monday, September 9th, the manager refused to speak to my partner. The salesperson said the dealership refused to take responsibility for the problem, they wouldn't help remove the mouse and clean the car, and they wouldn't cover the cost if we had the mouse removed and car cleaned. The manager told my partner that if he didn't take the car off their lot, they would have it towed and impounded. Once you've spent your money on a car at Foundation Kia, the people at this dealership do not care about you or your vehicle. Do NOT buy from Foundation Kia.
