AutoNation Buick GMC Park Meadows
Dealership Service Review
Long story short, I was working with GMC to get my truck in for the missing chips. I was on a three-way call with GMC and AutoNation and Ron from parts trying to identify if the parts were available. Ron said yes and promised to hold them for me till my service appointment. I was then transferred over to the Service department and talked to Jacob Miller. I have to say, Jacob was less then cordial on the phone to the point of even being slightly rude. He was unwilling at first to schedule my appointment even with GMC on the call trying to assist. After several minutes of bantering, he agreed to schedule my appt. When I arrived at the dealer, I was told that I could not wait on the truck and would need a ride home. This was odd since I had an appt and knew how long the chip installs would take. After sitting in the waiting room for an hour waiting on a shuttle ride home, Jacob proceeded to tell me that they didn’t have the steering wheel heater chips even though Ron (Parts Manager) told me they did and they were earmarked for me. Jacob said they had made a command decision to send me back home and put me on a waiting list for this chipset and the other warranty parts that I needed for my truck. Jacob said---don’t worry, we’ll have these parts in for you in 2-3 weeks tops! Well it’s been over three months now without contact from Jacob or AutoNation. I have reached out more than once asking for the status of all these parts that Jason assured me were ordered. It’s even funny that Jason said they now don’t have the original chips for my park assist that were being “held” for me. Lies---all lies from our first interaction. I got tired of waiting for Jacob, Autonation, and the lies that I was being told. I went to another local GMC dealer and had everything done including the new parts that I needed in a few weeks. Going forward, I wanted to let others know about my experience. I would never go back to Autonation nor would I recommend working with Jason or the Service team. Why isn’t honesty involved in dealing with the customers? If Autonation never intended on helping me with my GMC warranty case and repairs, why lie, schedule my appointment, allow me to take a day off work, make the trip to the dealer, and then lie and tell me parts were on order. I now know they never were. Jason was just trying to send me home without any help! It’s completely unacceptable! I have purchased new vehicles from this dealer before when it was another name, but would never set foot in there again for any work or purchases. I would advise others to look elsewhere too. No thanks Autonation or Jason. You have left a mark on me!
