AutoNation Buick GMC Park Meadows
Dealership Sales Review
I had an appointment to test drive a car. I was met by TJ who was very low energy and acted as if I was ruining his quiet Monday. (which he kept saying, it was quiet and now he had four deals he was dealing with, so he told his boss he wasn't going to work the next day). Barely offered a greeting, no offer of even a water (I had been to another Auto Nation on Saturday where I was greeted by three people, offered water, and just a friendly group of people, not the case at this location). TJ got the keys, sent me off to the car while he did something else and then came out for a test drive. He warmed up to me a bit, but once we were done he asked what next I said I wanted to talk numbers. Only then did he come alive as if I was the best thing ever. Only then did TJ really decide I was worth his time. Things were going well, but then he went to help another customer, didn't bother to tell us, and would then be gone for long periods of time and we just waited. Finance manager was great. Got everything done for us, was friendly and accommodating. TJ sent us on our way. Realized later he forgot to give us the other key fob and I also discovered we had no washer fluid, so I had to go back to the dealership to pick up the fob and to get washer fluid. The dealership is about a 45 minute drive for me. The entire experience was mediocre and the way I was treated as if I wasn't a serious car buyer was not a great experience. It almost felt like because I was a woman I couldn't be serious about car buying.
