Almost 4 hours for regular maintenance???

I got there at 1pm to get an oil change, tire rotation and an alignment on my vehicle. I was expecting at most 2 hours as this was mid week and not to many vehicles were around. I got my first update at 3:05p that my vehicle will be done "shortly", I didn't leave the shop till 4:41pm. Whats upsetting is that I had to cancel all my afternoon appointments since I wasn't going to make it anywhere during rush hour. No compensation was offered either for the time I spent there, truly unprofessional service.
